Charity Ladies Night
kiju hosted a Ladies Night at Reeds of Tombland, Norwich, on 1 December 2005 and raised over £500 in support of Breast Cancer Research UK.
The main event was held in Reed’s beautiful Christmas marquee, with live music from celebrated harpist Xenia Horne of Musicmakers UK and from jazz pianist Matt Corbett in the bar.
Kirsty was on hand on the evening giving advice, practical demonstrations and showcasing the whole range of kiju products - a sophisticated range using pure, organic ingredients from ethical sources.
The Jade Tree, where kiju is based, was also there with some wonderful, exclusive gifts -including gorgeous hand-embroidered silk scarves by Tamara Rampley, unique jewellery, paintings by Jaqui Fenn and Jean Cummings, and men’s and women’s accessories from Textile Treasures. Please visit The Jade Tree at 39 Elm Hill in Norwich or at www.thejadetree.co.uk
Tulip of Norwich was also showcasing bags from Orla Kiely, cashmere from William Sharp, jumpers from Joseph and jewellery from Otazu.
10% of all sales went to Breast Cancer Research UK, and a fabulous charity raffle was held, with first prize a Class 2 Mercedes Benz for the weekend from Robinsons of Norwich and prizes from kiju, The Jade Tree, Tulip and Reeds.
The event was organised by new Norwich based events agency TNG Events
